BENGglas vacuum glass consists of two glass panes at least 3 mm thick with a vacuum space of just 0.3 mm between them. This vacuum almost completely eliminates heat transfer through conduction and convection, achieving an insulation value of U=0.35 W/m²K with fewer glass layers and less weight.
This delivers an insulation value up to 3× better than HR++ glass, while the glass — with a thickness from just 6.7 mm — almost always fits existing frames. This saves on materials, labour costs and preserves the authentic appearance of listed buildings. Independently tested by ift Rosenheim (2025).

Standard −36 dB sound reduction for a quieter indoor environment. In the hybrid laminated variant, sound insulation rises to −41 dB. Ideal for homes on busy roads, inner-city locations and care facilities.
Standard tempered glass — 5× stronger than ordinary glass and resistant to thermal breakage. Safe against injury in accordance with NEN 3569. Also available fall-safe (1B1) and burglar-resistant (P4A). Exception: the 6.7 mm variant is heat-strengthened glass.
Expected lifespan of 50 years with less material use and CO₂ emissions than conventional insulation glass. With up to 20 years warranty available.
