Ceramic screen-printed glass (ceramic frit) in any RAL colour, any pattern and any coverage — combined with tempering per EN 12150. Solar control, privacy, branding and architectural design in one product.
Screen-printed glass — also known as ceramic frit or serigraphed glass — is produced by applying ceramic ink to flat glass using a screen printing process and then tempering it. During the tempering process at 620 °C, the ink fuses permanently with the glass surface. The result is a colour or pattern that does not scratch, fade or peel — even outdoors.
GIGAglas supplies screen-printed glass in any coverage (1–100%), any pattern (fully opaque, dot matrix, line grid, gradients, artistic motifs) and any RAL colour. Combinable with laminated glass, extra-clear (low-iron) glass and reflective coatings.
From 300 unique prints for Nieuw Babylon to dot matrix screen printing on tinted facade panels in Eindhoven — we supply screen-printed glass that delivers on architectural ambitions.
Every panel can carry a unique pattern. For the Nieuw Babylon project in The Hague we supplied 300 individually different screen prints — one production run, flawless execution.
The ceramic ink fuses into the glass at 620 °C. No coating peeling off, no UV discolouration, no erosion from weather. Screen-printed glass lasts as long as the building — for decades.
Screen printing reduces direct solar radiation without external shading. A dot matrix of 30% coverage significantly reduces solar gain — while simultaneously defining the facade appearance.
Screen printing is always applied before the tempering process — so the end product complies with EN 12150. Combined with laminated glass and Heat Soak Test for complete safety.
Our ceramic inks are mixed to RAL colour code or supplied sample. We provide colour samples before production and guarantee consistency across the full delivery — including re-orders.
We work with architects and designers from the first colour specification to the last panel delivery. Upload your design — we produce exactly what you envisioned.
Screen-printed glass combines technical function (solar control, privacy, safety) with architectural expression. It is the most versatile glass for building envelopes and interiors.
