CE-certified tempered safety glass in any size — from standard to oversized panels up to 24 m in length. Via our worldwide partner network of manufacturers, GIGAglas delivers as a wholesaler at competitive prices across Europe.
Tempered glass — also known as thermally tempered glass or thermally toughened glass — is produced by heating flat glass to approximately 620 °C and then rapidly cooling it. This thermal tempering process creates compressive stresses at the surface that quadruple the breaking strength compared to ordinary glass.
When broken, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt granules with no sharp edges — conforming to EN 12150, the standard for safety glazing in construction and architectural projects. GIGAglas supplies tempered glass in standard and oversized formats up to 24 m in length via our partner network of manufacturers.
Through direct factory partnerships we supply tempered safety glass that is simply not available through conventional glass merchants — in terms of size, quality and price.
We supply tempered glass in panels up to 24 m in length — suitable for iconic facades, noise barriers and large roof structures that far exceed standard sizes.
Our Heat Soak Test eliminates the risk of spontaneous breakage due to nickel sulphide inclusions. Essential for applied glazing in facades, roofs and structural applications.
Single and double curved tempered glass for architectural applications. We combine the tempering process with bending for complex curvilinear facades and roofs.
GIGAglas has extensive buying relationships with certified manufacturers worldwide. As a wholesaler, this translates into competitive prices and short lead times for you.
Exact dimensions, thickness, edge work, holes and coatings — we manufacture to your technical drawing. No compromises on specification, even for large series.
From standard interpretation (EN 12150, EN 1863) to logistics advice for oversized transport — our team guides you from specification to delivery on site.
Tempered safety glass is the backbone of modern architecture — from high-rise facades to infrastructure. GIGAglas delivers for a wide range of sectors and project types.
