CE-certified laminated glass with PVB, EVA, SGP — SentryGlas® and PVB interlayers — for balustrades, facades and acoustic applications. Via our worldwide partner network of manufacturers, GIGAglas delivers as a wholesaler at competitive prices across Europe.
Laminated glass — also known as laminate glass or VSG (Verbundsicherheitsglas) — consists of two or more glass panes permanently bonded by a thermoplastic interlayer. When broken, the shards remain adhered to the interlayer, preventing dangerous flying fragments.
The choice of interlayer determines the performance: standard PVB for safety, acoustic PVB for noise reduction, EVA for moisture resistance, SentryGlas® (SGP) for structural applications under high loads, and DG41 for exceptional optical clarity.
We supply laminated glass with the right interlayer for your application — combined with tempered glass, coatings or screen printing. No standard solutions, but precision to specification.
Shards remain bonded to the interlayer. No danger from flying glass fragments — conforming to EN 12600 class 1B1, essential for all walkway and overhead applications.
SGP interlayer offers five times the stiffness of standard PVB. Ideal for free-standing glass walls, walkable floors, structural balustrades and facades without additional load-bearing structure.
Acoustic PVB (e.g. Vanceva Sound, Trosifol SC) reduces sound by up to 52 dB Rw — measurable added value for office facades, residential towers and noise-sensitive projects.
Laminated glass significantly delays penetration. We supply certified classes per EN 356 — from P1A (basic protection) to P8B (attack resistance) for security-sensitive buildings.
Coloured PVB interlayers (Vanceva Colors) filter UV radiation up to 99% and provide solar control without external shading. Ideal for museums, archives and climate-sensitive spaces.
GIGAglas has extensive buying relationships with manufacturers worldwide. As a wholesaler, we combine laminated glass with tempering, coatings and screen printing in a single production step — certified with DoP, CE marking and test reports.
From roof glazing to floor glass, from acoustic facades to burglar-resistant display cases — laminated glass is the most versatile safety glazing solution in the architectural sector.
